Total Slaughter happened on Saturday but the rap world is still buzzing about the event, which is a W for Shady Films and WatchLOUD. More than anything, other emcees are coming out of the shadows to show their love for battling and praising not only the event but those who participated. Now, we can now add Lil Wayne to the growing list of admirers.

In the latest episode of Weezy Wednesdays, Tunechi gives his take on Budden Vs. Hollow and the sweet science that is battle rap as a whole. “As far as my opinion on battle rapping, I think it’s a cool sport,” Wayne shared. “I think it’s something cool to do…and can’t be done by many.” He goes on to commend Budden for participating, saying that winning or losing shouldn’t affect the credibility of an artist whose bigger focus is making more traditional music and albums.

He was also quick to admit that he’s not one of the few who could engage in battling. “I don’t know how to battle rap,” he explained. “For instance, you don’t see me diss. I don’t diss people, I really don’t know how to do that, talk about what you got on. I don’t know how to do that shit.”

Tune, did you say you don’t diss people?

He keeps on talking and it is funny to hear him talk Murda Mook-Loaded Lux, then Mook against Jae Millz, who I forgot even existed much less that he’s in Weezy’s camp, before bowing out and asking Mook not to come at his neck. Wayne threw up the white flag early!
