Loosies: Gucci & 2 Chainz Together, Freddie Gibbs Goes International, I-20’s “Death Wish,” Waka, Young Dro & More

Clearing out the inbox for the day, we have Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz, the valedictorian and salutatorian of enjoyable, elementary trap rap, firing “I’m Up,” the first drop off Gucci’s upcoming tape. Gucci says “I’mma throw a bomb at you” and, while La Flare may not have intended it, Chainz snatches the figurative projectile and hands in a decent verse, providing the only real fireworks on the track. The tape of the same name, I’m Up, drops on May 25th at 10:17 AM, of course.

Clearly, Gangsta Gibbs doesn’t play games but he’s now in the mix for one as he and Styles P join Brazillian rapper Emcida for a remix of the latter’s recently released “9 Circulos” from the Max Payne 3’s soundtrack.

Also on the Brick Squad side of things, Waka’s still pushing towards his Triple F release date. He’s joined by Plies for “Lurkin.” Ski masks and choppers not included but play at high volumes.

Been missing I-20? Same here until I swiped this new track from Chan’s house. With the growl of a bear, 20 proclaims “Bitch, I’m back on my grizzly, I ain’t hibernating.” Let’s hope his words hold true.

In other long lost voices, Grand Hustle’s Macboney and Dro take everyone to a ride down “Campbellton.” Props to TNT for the find.
