The first-week sales projections for Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail are out, and based on the numbers, a f*ckload of people still want to hear what a 43-year-old rapper has to say.

Based on how well the album moved on its first day of release, Billboard says MCHG might be pushing anywhere from 450,000-500,000 legit, #oldrules, sans-Samsung units by the end of Sunday. Previous projections surmised from pre-sale orders had Jay selling 350,000-400,000 copies.

The official numbers won’t release until next Wednesday. However, now we know Magna Carta Holy Grail will be Jay’s 13th #1 album. His milestone makes it even harder to snatch his 13 #1 albums title as a solo artist on the Billboard 200 chart. Seems like just yesterday when he rapped “Number one albums what I got, like four of them” but College Dropout dropped damn near a decade ago. o_O
