Match.com is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year but that’s nothing in comparison to the Mighty Marvel Comics. Originally called Timely Comics, Marvel’s been leading the way in superhero comics for 75 years. And while the once bankrupt comic company is now pulling in billions from the silver screen, comic books are still near and dear to the company’s heart.
So to celebrate a near century of generating modern day mythology, Marvel Comics is asking fans to help them pick which stories to feature in a pretty awesome anniversary gift.
“Marvel’s 75th Anniversary belongs to our fans as much as it does to our creators and everyone behind the scenes,” says Marvel SVP of Sales & Marketing David Gabriel. “From day one, Marvel fans have been an integral and vocal part of making Marvel the company it is today and we want their help in celebrating. The 75th Anniversary Omnibus is the perfect way to celebrate with our marvelous fans. Email your picks for the best Marvel comics of all time to firstname.lastname@example.org – and see if yours makes it to print!
