Welp. 2016 will be an interesting one for Maybach Music Group. After entering Rick Ross’ beef with 50 Cent by aiming a few choice lines from his surprise 4/4 EP at the Queens supervillain, Meek Mill placed himself in 50’s crosshairs. On Sunday, 50 responded in unsurprising fashion via Instagram:

Following his well-documented clash with Drake, Meek gained a reputation, fair or not, for running to social media when there are problems. Meek will not shed that reputation today. In a lengthy response on his own Instagram, the Philly rapper unburdened himself of everything that was weighing on his mind:

50, G-Unit, and even Toronto politician Norm Kelly, all receive shots, and 50 Cent enemies old and new, including Slowbucks and Irv Gotti, are referenced. Who knows what direction this will go next.

If we’re lucky, a reinvigorated 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck will all take to the booth in an attempt to destroy MMG, Ross, Meek, Gunplay and the rest of MMG’s muscle will shake off the mediocrity that has plagued their recent music, and all parties will produce some aggressive and pointed diss tracks that will entertain us for months. If we’re being realistic, we’ll get a lot more memes, gifs, and Vines, and probably some inconsistent music. If we’re unfortunate, well…

For now, listen to the song that helped ignite today’s drama, “Gave ‘Em Hope,” plus see the rest of Meek and Fif’s social media jabs exchanged below.

“You popping shit on your Instagram
Shit that you’re popping ain’t adding up
Shit that you’re popping ain’t making sense
I got fifty reasons say you’re taking dick
And it’s fifty reasons I should kill, n****
But, for real, n****, I been taking trips with my Philly n****s
Got the richest chick, she’s from your hood
N****s hating on me, I ain’t really tripping, shit, I’m good
I be in the 40 with the .40 on me like I should
I be deep in your ‘hood where you never be at
Be with them guys that you never could never dap
You could never adapt
You know the game, if you co-sign a rat, you forever a rat
We were never with that
You tried to ‘Money May’ with that paper, but now you in debt cause you never was that.”
