Never fancying myself as a Metallica guru or expert, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out they’re not the everyday, run-of-the-mill band. They’ve done rather well for themselves over the years.
Or so I had thought.
Turns out, one of the group’s biggest claims to fame was former Yankees closer Mariano Rivera using their “somewhat known” tune, “Enter Sandman,” as his entrance music. Now that he’s gone, the gigs aren’t exactly lining up. Life comes at you fast, indeed.
