At this point, “We All Know Her” is a fair and accurate statement, regarding the always beloved beauty known as hip-hop. However, while countless MCs have used this same appreciative theme before, Mistah F.A.B. uses Harry Fraud’s throwback guitar rhythm and soulful cuts to churn out one of the better love letters to H.E.R. in a minute.
The reason this I Found My Backpack 3 track stands out though, is because the smooth cut specifically speaks on how classic artists influenced the Oakland OG’s style, instead of simply namedropping everyone like others have done prior. Like much of Fab’s material, the quality lies in the details.
That being said, does anyone else feel like Fabby Davis has been dropping lots of above average material lately, that’s simply going under most folks’ radar? What’s it going to take for dude to have his Killer Mike moment where we finally see his recognition go to the next level?
