It’s a stressful time in France right now if you’re a high school senior. It’s the time of year when secondary school students take the stressful Baccalauréat exam to qualify for college. One French mother tried to ensure the best possible outcome for her daughter by subbing in and taking the exam for her.
According to reports, the 52-year-old woman was “dressed in Converse baseball boots, jeans and had on a lot of makeup” when she brazenly entered the Paris testing site to take her 19-year-old daughter’s three-hour English composition exam. The woman made it as far as sitting and taking the test until a proctor, who was familiar with the teen from a previous exam, noticed something in the milk wasn’t clean. Not wanting to disturb the group of students, he waited until a break before calling in police to take the mom away. Too bad she had already been writing for two hours, right?
It’s not known what penalties, if any, the woman and her daughter will face. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to forward this to my own mother who doesn’t even wait until the end of Mother’s Day to throw away my cards. Love you, mom!
