Prior to the NBA’s double header tonight on TNT, an order of business needed to be tended to – the unveiling the starters in next month’s All Star Game. They are as followed:

Western Conference

BC – Stephen Curry (Warriors)
BC – Kobe Bryant (Lakers)
FC – Kevin Durant (Thunder)
FC – Blake Griffin (Clippers)
FC – Kevin Love (Timberwolves)

Eastern Conference

BC – Kyrie Irving (Cavaliers)
BC – Dwyane Wade (Heat)
FC – Paul George (Pacers)
FC – Carmelo Anthony (Knicks)
FC – LeBron James (Heat)

LeBron and Kobe were the game’s leading vote getters (LBJ being the top overall), but don’t expect Bryant to start come next month’s extravaganza in The Big Easy. “With all due respect to the fans that voted me in, I appreciate that and they know how much I appreciate that, but you have to do the right thing,” Bryant said. “My fans know you have to reward these young guys for the work they’ve been doing.”

So excluding Kobe’s start, what else did the people get wrong? Leave critiques below and feel free to name the remainder of both squads in efforts to kill two birds with one stone. Check back a week from tonight when Ernie, Kenny, Chuck and Shaq unveil the reserves.
