Neef Buck – “Get Back To It” Video

Neef Buck is one of the underrated and unsung members of the early 2000s Roc-A-Fella dynasty. Legal troubles and personal issues kept him from participating in many of the classic radio freestyles that cemented the legacy of the Roc and the State Prop Chain Gang. Still close listeners know that ever since his scene stealing verse on “Full Effect” from Freeway’s classic debut album, the lesser-known half of the Young Gunz has displayed a penchant to dispense no-nonsense street tales with flair and charisma.

Now after rejoining his former label mates on stage for Jay-Z’s huge Made In America concert, and performing with Free, Young Chris, Memphis Bleek and Peedi Crakk on a Roc Reunion mini-tour, the Philly native has some momentum that can propel him back into the consciousness of listeners nationwide. The high octane “Get Back To It,” takes advantage of this momentum as the lead in to the fifth edition of Neef’s Forever Do Me series, releasing on January 15. Having climbed out of the rubble of the crumbling dynasty unscathed, Neef Buck seems motivated and prepared to build his own empire, brick by brick.
