Of all the various shoe companies, New Balance is one of the last ones standing with an archive that’s still untapped. Sure, they’ve produced a lot of collabs and did bring-backs with many models, but they’ve still got loads more waiting in line. Come July, two of those old favorites – the 530 and 830, two of the company’s ’90s run – will return to retail with updated colorways.
The 530 comes equipped with NB’s ENCAP technology while the 850 will feature C-CAP midsole. Both will feature a mix of synthetic and mesh uppers with splashes of bright colors that reflect the early 90s as well as the current styles of today. The end products are built to New Balance standards that don’t
sacrifice function to achieve fashion or vice-versa.
Expect to see both kicks at retail on July 1. The 530 and 850 will sell for a retail price of $99.95 and $94.95, respectively.
