Despite half the industry dropping “Drug Raps” on the daily, the Houdini-like Corey Gunz unpacks this menacing brick of straight bars, which serves as a sequel to the uncut OG from his 2009 Gangsta Grillz tape. Hit it once and “raw” will be the adjective you’re looking for.

Personally, Kid Cudi’s singing has never bothered me. Unless, he sounds like he’s stretching his vocal range beyond his reach, which the Cleveland MC definitely does on the new single from the group who’s “Fly Like A G6,” Far East Movement. Luckily, Dot Da Genius’ heavy-hitting snares and moody atmospheric touch make the ear-piercing misstep easy to see past.

Most of you know Kirko Bangz for keeping “Drank In (His) Cup” and being in your girl’s head like Maybelline, but over a cut-up version of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing,” the Houston rocket shows his versatility and drops a letter to his pops.

If you’re wondering why Planet VI sounds exactly like Rock City, it’s because they are Rock City. After being dropped from the Konvict Music earlier this year, the internationally known duo repackaged themselves and will be releasing their return tape, The American Dream, tomorrow. “F*ck You Too” is the lead single, which gets completely obliterated by everyone…except Planet VI.

As K.R.I.T.’s catalouge continues to embed itself into my best of the new decade category, in-demand producer Clams Casino adds his own flavor to the Third Coast representer’s already-classic track with Devin. Hope you like horns.
