What was intended to be a midnight release signaling the return of the G.O.O.D. Friday series turned into E.A.R.L.Y. Thursday. DJ Clue and Flex were bestowed with the honor of premiering the new record from G.O.O.D. Music and 2 Chainz entitled “Mercy.” And with that said, let the critiques rain from the heavens like singles in King Of Diamonds.
Since word dropped earlier this week of the track’s impending arrival, the buzz has been through the roof, only increased with last night’s Kris Humphries battle record, “Theraflu.” Supposedly, “Mercy” stands as the first look into the label’s compilation album set to drop soon if what Big Sean and Mannie Fresh said still holds merit. Without even hearing the record, two things stand true. One, Tity 2 Necklaces just received a Chris Paul alley oop. Pending he uses this to his advantage, his summer 2012 could make his summer 2011 look like child’s play crafting the stage for his debut LP to crash land in August. And second, if G.O.O.D. Music is plotting on a summer takeover, is it R.I.P. to the competition?
