Meek Mill – “Lean Wit It”

Hip-Hop’s Cam Newton, Meek Mill, is hellbent on showing his newfound 2011 success will be “slight work” to continue 2012. Philly’s newest star liberated news recently he’ll be releasing a follow up to last year’s TSS’ critically acclaimed mixtape, Dreamchasers, with a second installment and “Lean Wit It” is the first look inside. Dem Franchise Boyz are no where to be found as Meek attacks the Cardiak-produced chain link fence with the aggression of an MC who’s simply fighting to keep the lights on and food on the table. Never will it find life on the radio (at least I think not), but the aforementioned track is an example of one thing. The more comfortable M.M. appears to be getting with the pressure lobbied on him as MMG’s next big star, the music appears to getting stronger and stronger.

“I made a million off a mixtape nigga get your shit straight
I’m sellin’ that raw shit you selling that whip weight
Cookin’ up a whole bird until I make my wrist ache
When I pulled up to the club you shoulda seen your bitch face
**UGHHH** 50 cash in my pocket, nigga I got your stash in my pocket
I’m blowing my money fast in my pocket
Said it’s looking’ like I got Nicki ass in my pocket
Talking ass, ass, ass, ass all I get is cash, cash
Club with my last tab coulda bought a fast Jag
Way these bitches waving at me you would think a cab passed…”

“WOOOOOOOO” – (c) Ross

I was just chopping it up with Gotty™ and we both confirmed this song is already added to our respective iPods. The year’s only 48 hours old, but guess who just received a spot on the July’s “Top (insert number) Songs We’ve Enjoyed So Far” list.
