The Black Opera – “Manute Bol”

11.30.11 6 years ago

You jump anytime an opportunity arises to post a picture of the late, great NBA’er and social activist Manute Bol. That’s just the unwritten rules to the game. The Black Opera releases the next look into The EnterMission with a track named in honor after the seven footer. Defiant, sharp and bouncy describe this brash offering from Black Ops (a severely underrated title as far as Hip-Hop names are concerned). To be truthful, my process to becoming acclimated with Opera’s music is still in progress but their “Villains” video still remains one of my favorite releases of the month and “Manute Bol” serves as a notable follow up.

I’ll get back to you with an official date for when the project drops, but in the meantime, enjoy what’s offered here. Go ahead and click play. You could mess around and become a fan without even expecting it. And don’t you love it when that happens? Oh, and as always, R.I.P. Manute Bol. Hip-Hop appreciates you.
