Guess Who’s Going To Hawaii: NFL Announces 2012 Pro Bowl Roster

Gentlemen, start your b*tching. As per late-December tradition, the NFL released its 2012 Pro Bowl roster yesterday. Many well-deserving names look to represent their squads in Hawaii, including league-high eight representatives combined coming from New England and San Francisco, highlighted by signal-caller Tom Brady and linebacker Patrick Willis.

The most interesting storyline surrounding the voting this year has to be the amount of quality quarterbacks vying for the All-Star moniker. Aaron Rodgers got the nod over Drew Brees as the NFC starter, a call that will spark discussion, especially considering Brees’s record-setting season. Matthew Stafford of the feel-good Lions didn’t even make it. And if you were looking for presumed Rookie of the Year Cam Newton or that Tim Tebow fellow, you’re gonna have to wait a couple of weeks. Both were named alternates, so other players are going to have to turn down a luxury trip to Hawaii for either to appear.

What say you? Should Brees have gotten the nod over Rodgers? Did any deserving members of your team get snubbed?
