Nike’s starting to get back to the essence. Foamposite sales have begun to falter and it’s fairly simple to see why: the ridiculous price tag and unusually gaudy prints. While it’s unlikely that the price will ever go down, upcoming Foamposite One PRM ‘Silver Camo’ is inching closer to what made the almighty Foam so great.
A simple tonal metallic silver upper with subdued tiger stripe patterns with volt accents and a volt outsole are definitely a departure from the other types of prints we’ve seen in the last year. Just one step closer back to the Shadows, Eggplants, and other noteworthy tonal Foamposites. Less is more for a shoe this wild. Now we’re talking.
Now, are these dope? Yes. Is these dope enough to drop $250 on? That’s up for debate. Not so sure what makes this Foamposite a Premium, but with a steeper price tag and white box, hopefully Nike throws us a bone and tosses in some extra laces, lace locks, something.
The Nike Air Foamposite One PRM ‘Silver Camo’ releases March 1st and will be available at select NSW retailers including Uptown.
