First reaction to the Nike Air Max 2015? Whoa. Second reaction? F*CK YEAH.
Truth be told, I haven’t worn a yearly Air Max since the 2009 versions but next year’s sleeker version will be the ones to break my self-imposed ban. Looks like the direction of the shoe is headed from Hyperfuse to Engineered Mesh.
With last year’s release, I was unimpressed but after seeing the 2015 drop I’m all aboard the hype train. The round lacing system with intertwined Flyknit makes these a done deal to get copped during the holiday season. My advice to sneakerheads is to wait it out till after the holidays. To my knowledge, the yearly Air Maxes never sell out due to the inflated pricing and there’s always the rumored black/infrared Jordan 6 release on Black Friday. My only gripe is that the bomb pop colorway isn’t here in time to celebrate the Copa de Oro, but the USMNT jersey will stand in as a suitable replacement to rep ‘MURICA.
The Nike Air Max 2015 drops in November. Official US pricing has yet to be determined.
