A look at three new colorways of Nike’s Air Footscape Woven Chukka releasing for Holiday 2011. Wovens definitely aren’t for the faint at heart but they look so dope on foot and are made versatile, able to be jazzed up a bit or worn low-key. The green, 80S “Iguana” pair reminds me of Harris-Tweed Footscapes from ’06.
“Consider this a celebration of otherworldly Nike thinking. Merging the performance led eccentricities of the legendary Nike Air Footscape from 1995 with the unique, tradition meets technology of 2000’s Nike Air Woven, the Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka brings two pioneering moments in unorthodox design language together. Aided by the Free Motion sole unit with emphasis on flex informed by Nike FREE, casual everyday performance gets an ankle-high cut that’s aided by neoprene for a definitive fit.
“The latest collection in the 4th quarter of 2011 brings three new colorways coded 3CE (Black), 68G (Light Charcoal) and 80S (Iguana). In which 3CE is equipped with a white sole while the other two are with sail color soles.” [Kix-Files]
All three are available now at Kix-Files but fingers crossed in hopes these make it to the States.
