Keep the game royal suede on loafers, fam. King James is a snazzy dresser on occasion, no doubt about it. But I can’t justify these Nike LeBron 11 EXT ‘Blue Suede’ kicks. Maybe he took some inspiration from luxury slippers? Or maybe some wild-colored Mauris like the OG Gotty owned? Either way, Nike tips their hat to the NBA style icon with the first EXT in the 11 series.
No Flywire or Hyperposite mean they aren’t suited for the basketball courts, but the luxury feel of the Cookie Monster hide and Vac Tech maintain slick appeal of the original shape. And the full length Zoom Air + Lunarlon insole remains for maximum comfort. The price remains the same despite the premium appearance which is a plus for anyone looking for something different, and by different I mean NOT the garbage lifestyle editions of player models.
Use a different material and the same blue, and these are good money. For some reason the nap in the suede is a little much to place on the entire upper of a shoe. To each their own though. Maybe Bron is going the Fieg route with the tonal shoe, and for that I can’t fault dude. Practice makes perfect.
The Nike Lebron 11 EXT ‘Blue Suede’ releases April 10th.
