Some of LeBrons lowtop signatures have been ugly as hell, but not so with the Lebron 11 Lows. And in this case of the Dunkmans, the lows are iller than the highs by a long shot. This release is chock full of character.
Instead of the customary slate grey and black associated with previous Dunkmans, a dark olive makes a first time appearance with accents of black and mean green. Yeah, volt green colors might be nearing a tipping point soon but the pairing with a darker shade works for me in this case. Even with highlighter accents, keeping the shoe to three colors is a good move from an aesthetics standpoint.
While I’m indifferent on the Dunkman logo, the rest of the shoe is pulled off really well. Rolling with speckling instead of making the entire toecap mean green translates into a pair of Lebron 11 Max Lows that stand out but aren’t obnoxiously loud in doing so.
The Nike Lebron 11 Max Low ‘Dunkman’ releases May 31st for $170. Call Uptown to cop or seek them out a Nike retailer near you.
