We know James Harden is mad as hell after hearing of this. Certified star in the NBA, yet Lil Penny is getting his own official shoe (not counting the 1/2 Cents). The Nike Lil’ Penny Posite is releasing some time this year and the initial pictures are pretty far from impressive. Throwing Posite material on any shoe increases both the price and chances of horrendicity. The end result is something that looks a bit like a Flightposite Exposed thrown in with a bootleg Lebron 11.

Nope. Not having it, Nike.

The most interesting thing to us was the use of the five dots on the rear heel of the shoe. Nike’s Alpha Project used the linear dots pretty heavily on gear and in advertising up until late ’90s, so maybe a revamping of the product offering is in the works. We hope so. Because aside from the colors, there’s not much else to like about the shoe. They’d only look good with Jordan Brand denim. In the trash can.

Keep the Lil Penny Posite and give us MOAR Penny 2s in original colors dammit.
