It’s been years since I’ve copped a Dunk Low, but what better way to come out of quasi-retirement than with the Nike Dunk Low SB ‘De La Soul.’ Had the Highs, regretfully sold them like a dumbass, but redemption came around years later, thanks to the plug Wit-E.
The quality speaks for itself, and the colorway will work nicely during the warmer months. The fit on the revamped Lows are pretty much the same as older releases with the biggest change being a heel pad to prevent foot slippage. Some might criticize the lack of the holographic feel of the album cover, but this time around the colors pop more, so it’s really a give or take kind of deal.
All in all, this drop could create a new renaissance for Nike’s SB line to restore it to its former glory of the orange box days. If so, the De Las are a great starting point.
