Because any chance to pay homage to Big Boi and Andre 3000 is a worth the expense of thinking of the words to do so. Because every album helped push ‘Kast into another stratosphere of creativeness and popularity previously unheard of. Because much of their catalog equated into the soundtrack of lives from Atlanta to Los Angeles and everywhere in between. Because most of us will never forget how they helped show, prove and forever immortalize the phrase “The South got something to say!” while not totally boxing themselves in by any state line or regional sound.* Because we’ll always clamor for more music, but can always appreciate the output we do have. Because, well, just because.

That’s the reason behind this latest iPod Shuffle. Because Speakerboxxx/The Love Below came into our lives exactly 10 years ago today.

* – Everyone remembers the ’95 Source Awards for the night Death Row Records drew a line in the sand with Snoop’s infamous rant and Suge calling Puffy out. An often understated tidbit, however, was OutKast being booed at Madison Square Garden after winning Best Rap Group.
