In a bizarre twist of fate, Fast and Furious actor Paul Walker was killed at the age of 40 in a car accident. Walker was a passenger in a single car crash in Valenica, Calif. while attending a charity event hosted by for his organization Reach Out Worldwide to benefit Typhoon Haiyan victims. Walker’s death was confirmed by his representative via his official Facebook account.
The actor was best known for his role as FBI agent and street racer Brian O’Conner in the The Fast and the Furious film series, and was working on the seventh sequel at the time of his death.Walker also had leading roles in several other films including the box office hits Varsity Blues and Takers.
He died young, but he got to be a star quarterback, an FBI agent, a mobster, and a bank robber before he left us. He did more living in 40 years than most retirement home residents. Here’s hoping Paul keeps his foot on the pedal as his speeds along the highway to heaven. R.I.P.
