Truth be told, Phil Beaudreau’s “Take It High” is after work music. One of those songs worthy enough for a spin following a long day, and one smooth enough to take your mind off traffic or any other nonsense the previous eight hours afforded. Don’t expect to hear this performed at the Grammys or any major award show this year, but if music is therapy as it is so often sold as, “High” is enough to get lost in for a good five minutes.
Expect to find this on Beaudreau’s forthcoming Either EP. If the following words weren’t the selling point, maybe this will. Beaudreau coming with a highly recommended cosign from Dawaun Parker.
Bonus: There’s more where that came from, too. Check out “Buried Alive” and “Spark” below.
