Pusha T Thought Lil Wayne’s Diss Was “Trash” Too

Pusha T stopped by Flex’s radio gig to talk shop about Weezy, Drake versus Breezy and Nicki skipping Summer Jam. Regarding Wayne’s “Ghoulish,” Pusha expressed nothing but disappointment.

“It was horrible, it was horrible, it was trash. I didn’t like it for that type of record, I haven’t said anything about it because I felt it wasn’t good enough to respond to. I think him saying what he said yesterday that was in his best interest. To admit that you were emotional and reacting to something, like I still want to know what part pertained, like what hit you.”

Pusha-Ton also divulged the info that G.O.O.D. Music’s album Cruel Summer should be arriving at everybody’s door on August 7 and dropped off a new tune titled “Lambo,” featuring Swizz. In most situations, Swizz’ presence either provides a certain luster or tarnishes everything and “Lambo” falls in the latter category. Strip away Mr. Keys throat back ramblings and maybe the track comes off stronger.

Not to be forgotten, No Malice let loose the new record “June” from his forthcoming solo venture Hear Ye Him. Mal’s keeping it interesting by balancing his faith and still making secular music worth checking. “June” isn’t as strong as the punch an old Clipse track used to pack, but it’s no “Lambo” either, praise Jah.
