We’ve all done it. That teensy, tiny fraction of people who were caught and penalized in the tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars likely wish they hadn’t downloaded music illegally, but on the whole, people keep doing it probably. Platforms like Napster, Limewire, and Kazaa revolutionized piracy, making music exceedingly accessible to people hiding behind their screens in the comfort of their home.
That being said, it was probably many moons ago, but what was the first song that you illegally downloaded?
Oh, of course I remember my first foray into piracy. It’s was on my family’s shared PC. I picked up the future classic “Back That Azz Up” and a nasty virus. To this day, my dad still thinks I have a thing for animal pron, which still makes for awkward discussion during the holidays.
