Rams Hands Up Don't Shoot

Protests at St. Louis sporting events since Michael Brown was killed by Ferguson, MO. police officer Darren Wilson have ran the gamut of possible outcomes, from protesters at a Cardinals baseball game being showered with racism to another group being ignored despite visible protest during a Rams game earlier this year. The latest demonstration could not be ignored though.

Rams receivers Tavon Austin, Kenny Britt, Stedman Bailey, Chris Givens and tight end Jared Cook all staged their own “Hands up, don’t shoot” protest during player introductions before their game against the Raiders. A powerful gesture from the players after the Grand Jury in Ferguson decided not to even charge Wilson this week.

As for the less important football side of things, the Rams are dominating the Raiders 38-0 in the second quarter in St. Louis.
