1. Thodio iBox XC
There many wireless speakers out there. But I think we’ve fallen in love with the best yet. Right away, you notice the iBox uses wood, but it’s only the finest of hardwoods, such as zebrawood or teak. The drivers are 6.5 inch Kevlar cones and provide the power and accuracy seen in the video below.
2. Casio G-Shock GB
Ever wanted to link your watch with your iPhone? Well, now you can with the G-Shock GB and your iPhone 4S/5, because the GB was created with you in mind. You get the watch, which is a standard $120 G-Shock with Bluetooth, and your iPhone, preferably running iOS 6.0+, or a Casio G’zOne Commando running Android. With this pair, you will never lose your G-shock or phone, you can synchronize various alerts to your watch, and from your phone’s location, keep your time zone on point.
Check out Sphero. It’s a toy. It’s a robot. It’s a game system. And with its second generation being implemented expect more. Right out of the box, this ball is used to waste time, sort of like an RC car you control with your smart phone. But with a slew of over 2 dozen apps, an off-road cover and ramps for the ball, you can find ways to kill a lot of time with this contraption.
4. Nvidia Shield
When Nvidia first announced the Shield, people were ultra “meh” about its existence. Basically a PS Vita. But after people finally got their hands-on, they realized it is actually a mobile gaming device you should consider. Its portability and controller layout are obvious perks. But when you consider it can play any Android titles, stream directly from your PC via Steam, and the 28 hour battery, you start to think about buying one.
5. Hövding Airbag for Cyclists
The Swedish are pretty amazing people. They’ve brought us useful product lines like IKEA, Volvo, and Absolut. Since roughly 64% of their population rides bikes, it was about time they’d come up with something unique like this. This invisible bicycle helmet is designed to inflate in milliseconds before impact. Years and years of development, and the designers are sure this invention will save lives.
6. Lazy Glasses
Just for shits and giggles. These glasses are ideal for the couch potato who just doesn’t want to turn their head. The special mirrors on the lenses let you watch the TV at a 180 degree angle. And they are soft for extra long viewing sessions.
