Revisit Childhood With Chance The Rapper’s ‘Wonderful Everyday: Arthur’

If you’re in need of a pick me up, Chance The Rapper has you covered with his immensely positive new track “Wonderful Everyday: Arthur.” Featuring additional vocals from Eryn Allen, Peter Cottontale & Donnie Trumpet, Elle Varner, Francis & The Lights, Wyclef Jean, Kane & The O’My’s, and Jesse Ware, “Wonderful” is the stuff cola commercials are made of.

If it sounds familiar, it’s because it’s a twist on the theme song of the long-running animated children’s series, Arthur. Injected with soul and energy, the track is exactly the type of music that I want my still hypothetical kids to love. Even a rappity rap loving part-time curmudgeon like myself can crack a smile after giving this song a spin. It feels good to listen to a song besides “Happy” that happens to be happy.
