Things get a certain point that by the time an album’s ready to finally hit stores we’re almost tired of it. Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” hasn’t stopped burning since its release and the dance-friendly jam, deservedly, earned the title of song of the summer for 2013.

Still, I’m almost at the point where I need it to go away. It’s not you, “Blurred Lines,” it’s me.

BUT…if we’re going to mute it, let’s be sure to send the song off in style as Mr. Thicke hit Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to join Jimmy and The Roots in the famed “Music Room.” You know, the karaoke-styled space filled with kid instruments and such. Always a grand time.

There’s a full list of who’s playing what instrument here. I would post it but it’s way too Friday for all that. Just watch, listen and enjoy.
