There’s begging. And there’s begging.
At last check, Robin Thicke’s still blazing the trail to return to his wife, Paula Patton, and son’s good graces. Not a damn thing is wrong with that. He screwed up. He recognized the error in his ways and he wants to win his wife’s forgiveness. That’s not erasing whatever got him in Paula’s doghouse. But it’s not a difficult equation to grasp either. Every man (and woman) in a long-term relationship has opted for the “baby, baby please” route at some point, despite what social media otherwise sensationalizes. Most every man and woman isn’t a celebrity either.
If one thought Thicke dedicating a song to his ol’ lady was off-the-wall, then try this. Robin’s forthcoming seventh album will be entitled Paula. Yep, Paula.
Per Rap-Up, the album was written and produced entirely by Thicke and set to hit shelves and iTunes on July 1. There’s more, too. Robin’s scheduled to perform new material at the BET Awards in Los Angeles on June 29.
If this doesn’t work, it may be a PornHub or Tinder night for the next few weeks for Mr. “Sex Therapy” himself.*
