For the fourth consecutive game in the series, Memphis and Oklahoma City are heading to overtime. Why, you ask, when the Grizzlies were up 20 at one point in the second half? Because apparently holding large leads just isn’t the cool thing to do these days. Either that or someone in a random Buffalo Wild Wings hit the button that somehow extends games.
Because with the Grizz up two in the waning seconds, Russell Westbrook stole Mike Conley’s cookies to tie the game up, eventually forcing the aforementioned free session of basketball.
Good grief, Mike. You’ve played an otherwise good game. Win or lose, though, don’t check those text messages after the game.
