Late nights and early mornings in the “Studio” with ScHoolboy Q, BJ The Chicago Kid and rap music for the latest track from Oxymoron to get a visual treatment, courtesy of Jerome D. As the song’s lyrics go, there is a reason for the rhyme here.
Said it before and I’ll say it again: (surprisingly) best song off Oxy. And that’s more a statement to the quality of the song rather than a shot at the quality of the album.
This and Grooveline pt.2 are the only songs I kept from the album. I did like Man of the Year too but more for the video
The last verse is a little different. I thought BJ did the last verse on the album
Iokno man. Sounds the same like the album version. Only thing different on the video, it just fades out normally instead of without the chop & screw effect.
Swiff D with the MF’n win and BJ with the assist.
I felt like Q was a lil lazy on this one and got saved by the hook
Good call but it could be that he’s in the studio and not giving a fuck of wanting to rhyme, just wanting to fuck hence not as usual. Doubt it though
Hook is so dope. simple n solid.
Word, u not the only one. I think the same thing too, every time I hear this song. Like man he wasn’t even tryin at all with lyrics, Lol. It has an R&B feel, so I give it a pass. Aint gotta be too lyrical on it. The hook/beat is so dope that it still works.
One of the only songs I liked from his disappointing album. Glad it got a video. BJ can sing for sure.
I saw this fat fuck not too long ago and it was the worst show I’ve been too. This “I’m eatin” ass negro had to stop and sit down between songs, play K Dot tracks, catch his breath and then continue on afterwards. Sloppy ass going to lose a limb to diafatties ass piece of shit. All jokes aside, I thought this was the best song on the album too
Just seem him last Thursday and it was one of the best shows I been to recently. I was surprised too.
