Seattle’s 12th Man Made A Prophetic Super Bowl Video Four Months Before Sunday’s Big Game

can't stop the seahawks

Super Bowl XLVIII is the first of its kind in years where I have no true rooting interest. Seeing Peyton get ring No. 2 and Demaryius Thomas do it for his mama would put a smile on my face, as would watching Marshawn Lynch do whatever it is Marshawn Lynch would do given the opportunity to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. That being said, this video makes it difficult not to pull for Seattle fans, their laid-back city and enviable marijuana laws (unless you’re a Niners fan).

In October, a group Seahawks fans decided to take it upon themselves and create possibly the best “let’s go team” video in quite some time. Flipping Rihanna’s “Stay” to describe the pain of 2013 divisional playoff loss to Atlanta and G.O.O.D.’s “Clique” for their current emotional high, the effort, precision and quality is all f’n top notch. Risk big and win big, such is a motto in life. Seriously, Seattle fans, bravo. You deserve rounds.

mariah slow clap

I long for the day I, too, can make a video like this for my team. Hopefully, one of you can come get me out of whatever nursing home I’m in and remind me what my name is by then. Anywho, more importantly, Super Sunday is 48 hours away and Seahawks fans are all jacked up on Mountain Dew and will come at you like a spider monkey.

Your move, Broncos fans. Just not this move.
