If you’ve navigated the Internet the past week or so, you probably saw Complex ruffle a few feathers with their 30 Best Rappers In Their 30’s list. Joe Budden and Royce placed 24th and 20th, respectively, while Joell Ortiz and Crooked I weren’t invited to the party at all. In sort of a lighthearted, but still serious soliloquy, the four headed lyrical weapon of mass destruction speak about the issue.
Here’s the thing about lists. There’s no way in hell they’re ever going to be “just right,” so people being pissed off is part of the responsibility an outlet takes on when publishing one. Still though, kudos to The ‘House for having some fun with this while still getting their point across.
