Slaughterhouse’s Hot 97 Freestyle Session With Funkmaster Flex

I still vividly remember when Slaughterhouse came on to Green Lantern’s radio show and for 20 minutes proceeded to completely annihilate Hov’s “D.O.A.” record until there was nothing left but the occasional dust particle here and there. Truth be told, I still go back and play that jawn on occasion. And only two years later Funkmaster Flex got to host his own demolition site and give the four-headed monster the keys to the wrecking ball and bulldozer. The comparisons to that legendary freestyle from 2009 are bound to come up sooner or later, but it’s impossible for me to pass judgement on which one is better. F*ck hooks and bridges and all that fancy shit. Pure, unadulterated lyrical fuckery is what the super group is best at and pure, adulterated lyrical fuckery is what you’ll get. 20 more minutes in fact. Over a variety of freestyle friendly beats such as “Made You Look” and “Shook Ones Pt. 2” among others.

Let the ___ killed it the most discussion commence.
