Snow Day Viewing: Watch Every NBA Slam Dunk Contest Ever

Chicago Bulls Michael Jordan, 1987 NBA Slam Dunk Contest

Much of the east coast is in the house today, as the most recent snowstorm has turned highways into skating rinks, front walks into exercise, and productivity into futility. In between making November babies and day drinking, occupy your time with every NBA dunk contest ever on NBA TV. That’s right. All of them.

In anticipation of the 2014 NBA All Star Weekend, NBATV is broadcasting every NBA Slam Dunk Contest from 1984-2013. You can watch Jordan dominate the competition for three years or see why they called Dominique Wilkins The Human Highlight Reel. You can watch Dominique get dethroned by his 5’7″ teammate, or relive the Vince Carter “it’s over!” moment. Depending on what *ahem* levitation aids you have in the house, it may also be fun to watch the later, more gimmicky, contests including a blindfolded Cedric Ceballos or Nate Robinson completing a dunk after 75 or so tries.

Thank you NBATV for making our snow day just a little bit better. To paraphrase, Chris Tucker, it’s Thursday, you ain’t at work, and you ain’t got sh*t to do.
