We won’t belabor the point that this track, called “The Imperial,” featuring a who’s-who of emcees and produced by Statik Selektah, is hot. Because it most certainly is. Just be forewarned that the three rappers who featured – Action Bronson, Royce Da 5’9″ and Black Thought – all stake their claim to the most boisterous verse, and you could argue it anyway you choose.

Me, I’m partial to Bronson’s, but that’s only because I’m for any and all mentions of human parody and Kardashian husband Scott Disick on wax. The dude’s resemblance to American Psycho‘s Patrick Bateman is eerie, so it makes sense that the name-drop comes on a track where each dude is supposed to be ice-f***ing-cold.

But Black Thought had some stuff to get off his chest here, so pay attention.

Listen to “The Imperial” below, debate who killed it and pick up Statik’s What Goes Around, which drops August 19.
