Sunday Grab Bag

Splash got a hold on a batch of tracks which will be making appearances on a few upcoming Tapemasters Inc. mixtapes.  So consider this your inside track on these, so by the time the full/tagless versions surface you’ll have the leg up on what to grab & what to pass on.

I wanted to be impartial on this and let y’all make your own mind on these, but I can’t for one specific track.  While it’s not the final version JD, Usher & Robin’s should be ashamed for their mangling of Quincy’s quiet storm classic.  I’ve already said how I feel about Back On The Block, so I’ve been well versed in “The Secret Garden (Sweet Seduction Suite)” since a young age.  To take the bassline from Ghostown DJ’s “My Boo” & throw it under the original is not what’s up.  Next thing you know this will be the soundtrack for the final skate-down in ATL 2.

Usher Feat. Robin Thicke – “Secret Garden”

Somebody get a hold of Quincy & make sure this is the last time we hear this.

*Back to the scheduled programming*

Take a few minutes out your “busy” Sunday schedule & check these out.

Ludacris – “With You”
Rick Ross – “Keys”
Jadakiss – “In For the Kill”
Yo Gotti – “We Can Get It On”
Trey Songz – “For the Sake of Love”
Robin Thicke & Usher – “Secret Garden”
