“I dig it, but… who the hell is listening to SZA? She’s definitely not typical TDE” – Jesus Shuttlesworth

Apparently, Jill Scott and SA-RA’s Om’Mas Keith are in tune with what SZA’s doing, otherwise we’d have to wonder how a song like “Divinity” came to be. As it turns out, a studio meeting between the two led to the song. SZA wrote on her Twitter, “was gonna drop Julia today BUT I met @missjillscott last night and then freedom happened around 2 am so today we bask.”

The song itself is a long, dreamy number with both vocalists providing their stylings over pulsating production by Om’Mas. The two singers engage in a free-following weave between the two of them that’s the musical equivalent of reaching zen.

Like SZA said, press play and bask.
