T.Shirt seems to be making all the right connections. Premiering on this week’s episode of CSI of all places, Shirt’s new Maker-produced release, “Come Home With Me,” broadcast him to about 10 million pairs of eyes and ears at once. The track is just a bite-sized morsel, clocking in at a little over two minutes. But it’s is still a pitch-perfect representation of the Queens MC’s best qualities. His charismatic ode to unrequited love (or lust) is clever and playful without being corny.
In edition to television, we find the emcee/designer making at stop at the familiar intersection of art, fashion and music at the Reebok’s “Classic Sessions.” As precursor to their collaborative performance at the Reebok and Reed Space pop-up location, Shirt and the URNewYork art collective got in front of the camera to speak about their inspiration and what it means to create art, as well as give an insider’s look at their creative process. This mini-documentary is as informative as it is visually arresting
