Taylor Swift has done it again. The country-turned-pop star just scored the prestigious Album of the Year Grammy for the second time in her career for 1989, beating out favorites Kendrick Lamar, Alabama Shakes, The Weeknd and more. And as always, Taylor was completely surprised by her win, but this time her shock may have been legit since Kendrick Lamar was favored to take home the top prize. Taylor’s win also means she’s the only female artist to be awarded with Album of the Year twice.
However, during her acceptance speech, Taylor made sure to serve a nice helping of shade to Kanye West. As you may recall, Kanye reignited his feud with the “Bad Blood” singer on his new album, The Life of Pablo, rapping, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why?/ I made that bitch famous” on the song “Famous.” Well, Taylor was not okay with the misogynistic line and Kanye taking credit for her success and achievements.
