My rotation actually needed a new running shoe for actual running* and, as good fortune would have it, the FedEx fairy came through with the adiZero Feather two days or so ago. Billed as “one of the lightest everyday running shoes,” the adidas runners clock in right around 7 ounces but still are strong and responsive through the use of the SprintFrame and a foam insole. As they always do (examples one and two), the Stripes sent the illest packaging with the metal cage contraption that’s hell on storage but makes for the neatest conversation piece. Thanks to the good folks at adidas for the assist.
* – Yes, I use shoes for their intended purpose pretty often.
