The Indiana Pacers Do More In The 3rd Quarter Than Most Ballers Do All Game

Last night against the Denver Nuggets, the Indiana Pacers made their first 20 shots in the 3rd quarter and went on to score 54-points for the period. You have to ask yourself what’s more impressive: a team that can come out of halftime with fire shooting from their fingertips or you can actually name a single Pacer.

They were a team on a mission, seemingly looking to score a bucket for every person in the crowd as they finished with a final tally of 144. Consisting of a collage of forgotten but still capable hoop stars, Carmelo Anthony could only watch in awe as Mike Dunleavy hit six shots from downtown, Kareem Rush threw unintentional alley-oops to himself and this guy named Tyler Hansbrough managed to drop 20-points to Melo’s 13. It may be a franchise record but the Pacers will probably want some of these baskets back come next week.
