The Internet’s “Dontcha” Is Perfect End-Of-Summer Music

The Internet’s sophomore cut Feel Good drops September 24 and unfortunately not a moment sooner. To tide the thirst momentarily, the video for the group’s new single “Dontcha” is simple mainly because anything more complex would’ve taken away from the grandeur of the song itself.

Music is what feelings sound like, but also what moments in time resemble. “Dontcha’s” reach likely will not permeate throughout Top 40 stations across the country. What it does boast, nonetheless, is the ability to perfect those carefree times with the people who matter most. The ideal background soundtrack to end-of-summer cookouts, smoking sessions or random weekend get togethers with friends, The Internet’s music remains accessible to a variety of situations and settings.

In my unofficial power rankings, The ‘Net stands only behind Frank Ocean for Odd Future supremacy. And honestly, calling a spade a spade, those rankings could very well change by the end of the month.
