When I was 19, I fell in love with a Midwestern girl, but it ended in disaster. We gave each other a lot of things – mostly emotional scars and a lot of anger. However, at some point she introduced me to “In The Aeroplane Over The Sea,” which is the best thing I’ve taken from any of my jacked up relationships from my past. I get chills every time I listen and the final line, “can’t believe how strange it is to be anything at all” hangs in the air and doesn’t ever seem to leave the room. If a producer aptly samples, this, I’ll be an instant fan.
