It’s been a minute since we last saw Mr. Yorke or his Radiohead brethren but they always seem to show up on time. Thom cooks up another dish and brings along producer Nigel Godrich for the release of “Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses,” his contribution to the The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack.
Yorke doesn’t get into the semi-off-tune falsetto too much, leaving the song to Godrich and his MIDI board. The ingredients include your normal’s: drums, bass guitar, and cymbals. But the random samples and synths mix for a seasoned, intergalactic sound that drives you through these two Englishmen’s awry minds.
The track is light years away from what you’ve heard before, but you expect that. The awkward blends of sounds are so elaborate you can see them. And at the end of the song, this electric gumbo of instruments will leave you overwhelmed, yet you still love it.[audio:http://www.snapdrive.net/files/591135/Feeling_Pulled_Apart_By_Horses_.mp3%5D
