Tiara Thomas Proves She Can Do “Bad” All By Herself

Tiara Thomas

It’s hard to recall the last time two artists scored so mightily with just one song. Yet, that’s the case for Wale, Tiara Thomas and “Bad.” The MMG rider’s made strong use of the tune by adding it to The Gifted and also scoring a remix with Rihanna. And, for most of us, Tiara Thomas appeared from nowhere to go-where, building a name for herself on radio and with R&B fans. Recently, she inked a deal with Rico Loves’ Division 1 imprint and I guess we can say her career’s now in swing.

Here, Thomas, the song’s original writer, burns solo with a quick, slightly more stripped down version of the now-familiar tune. Even though it’s brief, the ears can tell she’s more than capable of holding her own without a co-star or while being ranked alongside even bigger ones (because the comparisons will soon come once Bad Girl RiRi’s take fully surfaces).

Below, there’s also a very (very) rough teaser of Wale playing “Bad 2.0? from his phone for the listeners of Sway’s radio show.
